► Fifteen/sixteen years without soda and I'm now drinking A&W Root Beer again. Oh, how I missed it. That said, if the old headaches I had in in my teens return, I'm giving it up for good.
► On Tuesday Warner Bros released the latest in the DC Comics direct-to-DVD animated movies, All-Star Superman. I've been looking forward to getting it since it was announced last year, but my Walmart is notorious for under stocking anything that isn't the latest blockbuster movie release. That's why I still haven't gotten the last couple of these animated DVDs.
It's been 3 weeks since I last went to Walmart, and since I probably won't go any sooner than next week, I decided to order the DVD from Amazon.ca. That the 2-disc release would be around $24 and Amazon had it for $17 helped. So on Wednesday I order All-Star Superman, along with The Art of Red Sonja and Playboy: Redheads. Those 2 books have been sitting in my cart for a few months, and I've nearly ordered them at least 3 times.
UPS seems to be getting a lot faster. The order didn't ship until last night and I received it today. They ship just outside of Toronto and that's only 5 hours away. It used to take 2 business days for me to receive my packages once they shipped, but since I've but since last year they now take only one business day. I like that.
Incidentally, it amuses me that with Christina Hendricks voicing Lois Lane in All-Star Superman, my order this week has a nice little theme.

Nah... Perfectly reasonable.

► Tom Spina Designs: Custom Themed Furniture - Several great pieces, but hands down the best has to be the Han in Carbonite desk. Seriously, that's just awesome.
► Drawsgood: Vintage DC Superhero Posters - Love the simplistic graphic designed poster art. They remind me a lot of Darwyn Cooke's DC: The New Frontier artwork.
