Improving Ones Health Through Bond, James Bond

► Starting to feel better this weekend. Still slightly weak and have a persistent sore throat, but for the most part I think I'm over whatever it was I had. I didn't bother posting yesterday mostly because I didn't feel like sitting at the computer for a change. Instead I watched a lot of television and then some movies with my sister.

Starting to feel anxious tonight though. Cold sweats, shakes and all.

► My grandmother called this afternoon to invite me for supper. Since I'm still a bit ill I'm concerned about her catching whatever it is I have so I declined. It's cute, she told me she already misses my Dad even though he's only been gone on his cruise since Friday morning.

► It's sad. I have this huge stack of unwatched DVDs, but instead of getting through them I'm rewatching some of my James Bond DVDs. Decided that I should rewatch the ones I haven't seen more than once since I bought them a couple years ago. Seeing it again, I think On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a really good and underrated film. George Lazenby isn't Sean Connery, but he gives a solid performance. His Bond is much more human and real than Connery's unflappable he-man or Roger Moore's winking punster. Also, I like how we get to see him do more routine and mundane spy activities and even see his office for the first and only time.

And, I never thought or noticed this before, but is it just me or does Jessica Biel bear a slight resemblance to Maud Adams? Albeit, more familial than identical. Eh, maybe I'm just nuts. That or I'm just preoccupied by my desire for both.

Man Replaces Ex-Girlfriend With Silicone Clone - Somehow I doubt the Ex in question is flattered.

Fathead: Superheroes - They're wall sized vinyl static cling stickers. I really want that "Justice League" Superman one, although I think it'd look great along with the Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern ones too, all lining the wall in the hallway leading to my room.

Teaser: ‘Doomsday Will Reign!’ - From the article:'On the heels of Marvel’s “Death of Spider-Man” teaser, the DC Universe blog has posted an image of the blood-dripping Superman shield under the headline “Doomsday Will Reign!”

Is this a case of good-natured ribbing from one publisher to another, or should readers expect dueling deaths - make that “deaths” - of two of the best-known superheroes? (Move over, Batman and Captain America - it’s Superman and Spider-Man’s turn!) Or DC could simply be hinting that Doomsday will (again) awaken following the events of the recent “New Krypton” storyline.'
Superman's turn? Been there, done that, got the comics, the trade collection, and the black arm band.
