Cold Rememberance
► With the drama involving my sister yesterday, I actually forgot that it was the 8th anniversary of Mom's death. Every time I remember that she's gone, it's like being slapped in the face with wet, cold, clammy seaweed.
► It looks like in addition to house and dog sitting, I'll be waiting for cake pick ups when I'm at my brother and sister-in-law's today and tomorrow.
► Three less things to worry about picking up in November, I guess. Glancing at DC Direct's website listings I was shocked to find that the 3 figures I ordered for November have had their release dates changed, and oddly too.
Blackest Night Wave 6 figure Star Sapphire Wonder Woman was supposed to come out next week but is now scheduled for early January. My Wave 7 figures, Black Lantern Superman and Red Lantern Mera have been pushed from late November to late December. The odd part is that Wave 8 of the line is still on schedule for early December, meaning Waves 6, 7 and 8 will come out in complete order reversal. I wonder what happened to cause the wonky production delays.

► Top 9 Worst Movie Sequel Titles-Not Counting Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon - I still think X2: X-Men United is a dumb title. Aren't the X-Men already united? Don't they mean "Mutants United"? Also what's the point of abbreviating "X-Men 2" down to "X-2" if they're just going to include "X-Men" in the subtitle?

► The 10 Geekiest Burlesque Performances [NSFW] - Love the Riddler "outfit" but that Klingon chick is going to be giving me nightmares for a week. And is holding a lightsaber really enough to qualify an outfit as being Star Wars? I don't think so.
