At Least I'm Clean
► Feeling a bit better than I did last night. I think shaving and showering this morning helped a lot, and I've actually started dusting my room for the first time in a shameful while (even managed to better arrange some figures and knick knacks). Still jittery, anxious and feel slightly stunned, but I don't have the same level of crushing hopelessness as I did. From completely shitty to mildly crappy... things are lookin' up!
I'm actually going to attempt to go out with Dad this afternoon. Every little test helps, I suppose.
► Talked to my brother and found out that, indeed, they need me to house and dog sit. Luckily it's just overnight Friday so that's good. He said he'd take a look at our fireplace either tonight or tomorrow. If he can't figure it out I'll just have to call the landlord, albeit begrudgingly.
► I've 2 very small (1 book each) orders from Amazon.com (US) and Amazon.ca (Canada) that both shipped on Sunday. The Canadian order arrived this morning. Hopefully the American one will show up either tomorrow or Thursday.Derek: woo hoo! Amazon order with my Superman and the Legion of Super Heroes TPB is out for delivery

Since Superman is my favourite character, I've been wanting to increase my collection of his books. There's other stuff I want and will get, but I want to keep Superman as a priority.

► Portable Amazon Chess 2.0.2 Eng/Rus - Looks like it's basically "blondes vs brunettes". It certainly is a creative way to increase interest in playing Chess, although I don't understand how it's "portable".
