► I'm really not feeling "well" tonight. It's not so much that I feel sick, as I feel... off. My nerves are still unsettled from last night. Although I'm not as jittery, I have a strong persistent distressed feeling, and I'm developing a tension headache. Feel somewhat down to. For the last hour my eyes have started to water a bit and I just had a 10 minute sneezing fit. So maybe I am coming down with something. All I know is I feel like crap tonight.
I should probably just go lie down and watch a movie or read.
► My nerves and headache aren't being helped by the assholes who insist on ripping their dirt bikes back and forth along the bicycle path next to my apartment building. I want to take a baseball bat to the one in particular who parked 30 yards away and revved his bike for 5 minutes, building a large plum of exhausted that lingered long after he tore off. Assholes are everywhere.

Why Scott Pilgrim did not do better - From chat:Derek: "...or figured they were out of the demo or subculture said: meh." <-- that's me!
Matt: That was me at first
Matt: but like everything, I read up on it
Matt: hell, that was my initial reaction to Hellboy
Matt: and Kick Ass
Matt: I think the concept is sort of interesting, the video game is fun, but I plan on seeing the movie at the cheap show in a few weeks rather than see it on the regular theater
Derek: I wasn't remotely interested in the comic because it seemed silly to me, I have a hard time getting into Japanese manga let alone Canadian manga
Derek: the movie hasn't interested me mostly for a gut reason
Matt: I like Manga, but tend to not like non-Japanese Manga
Matt: the movie started interesting me when I saw her panty clad ass in the air
Derek: it just seems like every time I see or read something for the movie I'm being told I won't get it so not to bother because it's for cool kids only
Matt: but, in reference to Kick Ass, I think the article makes a great point
Derek: really, I almost feel like I'm being talked down to by the people who made the film
Derek: there's a problem when before your movie opens your actors are telling the press "you either get it or you don't"
Derek: not the best way to sell your movie
Matt: It's not the best way to sell ANYTHING
