Too Many Sex Jokes Today
► Midway through working on this journal entry, LiveJournal switched the Tags from automatically filling in the tags as you type them to requiring you to open a tag selector. Shame, I liked the auto fill in thing.
► My paterfamilias dropped by for a visit this afternoon. Because of the new "no parking" sign in front of our building he parked on the street in front of the house next door. Less than 12 feet from the sign. Where there's a will, there's a parking spot.
Dad wanted me to check some websites for him, the final one being Amazon. There were some westerns he wanted so we placed an order, and he let me add 2 cheaper DVDs for myself. I'm finally getting The Running Man and also Wimbledon. Arnold Schwarzenegger! Paul Bettany! Yay! I figure we should get them some time next week.
► I was really jittery and worried about going out this afternoon since my nerves have been a bit spotty and my usual stomach worries (still felt full from supper last night). Letting my testicles drop for a bit, I got ready and we went out. I don't have much money left this month (this month has been tight, as the money I saved up since the spring has been burnt off by computer issues and other crap) but I wanted to pick up a few groceries and take a last look at the DVD sale displays at Walmart. They added some displays with more $4 and $5 movies, so I didn't spend too much (I bought 2 at $4 and 2 at $5). At least, not what I usually would.► Judge Dredd (1995)

► Is Adrien Brody Going To Be Ant Man? Very Possibly… UPDATED - Yes, no, maybe, likely not, who knows. My choice is Aaron Eckhart as Dr. Hank Pym, but I think they're determined to make the movie about the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang (a regular Joe who stole Hank's suit and technology to save his daughter).
► Sheriff: Lindsay Lohan to Serve Only Two Weeks in Jail - The way the internet and the media has been portraying it, you'd think Lohan is getting life. Hard time. In some sweaty, violent, sapphic South American prison that she'll have to escape from with a sassy black fellow inmate who she doesn't get along with. Forced to sell her body to survive within the hot, steamy corrupt system. The showers ripe with bosomy, sweaty women taking solace in the only thing that makes them feel alive. ...what was I talking about?
► The new 'Doctor Who' season will hit home video with a tantalizing extra - Yay! The release date for the set is officially November 9th! I can hardly wait! Just four months and I'll be able to bitch and moan how my Walmart didn't get the set, again.
► 'Captain America' and 'Thor' battle Nazis and Loki in new concept images - Snazzy.

► Cool Stuff: Ibraheem Youssef’s Minimalistic Posters for Inception, Scarface, and The Big Lebowski - Maybe Hollywood should actually hire this guy. Lord knows movie posters continue to get more and more mundane. Whatever happened to having iconic posters?
