Too Hot For Hamburgers
► It was so nice this morning but the heat and humidity started picking up this afternoon. Oddly, it's gotten hotter through the evening as the sun went down.
I've been waiting all evening for the apartment to cool down so I can try cooking a couple of the frozen hamburgers I bought the other day. Although, I might not bother since it's getting so late now.
Called my brother a couple of hours ago to ask him if he was still bringing the air conditioning unit that he and my sister-in-law offered to lend us. They've suggested Dean and I borrow it several times, but never get around to actually giving it to us. He said he'd bring it by on Saturday. I hope so.
► Hmmm, maybe I'll get a slice of raspberry pie out of the fridge. Should cool me down a bit.

► EW This week's cover: Green Lantern heats up Comic-Con - The first look at Ryan Reynolds in costume for the up-coming in-production Green Lantern movie. Kinda looks like skinned green muscle texture. Not hating it, just want to see some more shots.

► Actors We Miss: George C. Scott - George C. Scott was a brilliant actor. Beyond the films they mention in the article, my 2 favourites of his are The Changeling (which is one of my favourite ghost movies) and They Might Be Giants. I've long wished that They Might Be Giants would get re-released on DVD since it was only barely released 10 years ago.
► Is Mark Ruffalo appearing with 'The Avengers' or not? - Mark Ruffalo is Bruce Banner! Maybe, possibly.
