Eventually I Should Get Them Fixed Or Wired In Place
► Starting to warm up again. Won't be long before I have to put the box fan on. Really, I should probably put it on tonight since the heat and humidity have my bad busted ribs aching.
► Talked with Dad for a bit on the phone tonight. Now I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before or not, but I've been wanting to get a credit card. As it is, I can only use Dad's on occasion, and only to order from Amazon. Having my own card would allow me to shop on other websites online.
Last week I got an application at the bank for a card, but I haven't filled it out. Worry about getting in over my head with the card has been giving me a lot of pause. My plan was to only ever use the credit card when I had enough money in my bank account to pay it off immediately, and to try to limit it's use to once a month, or no more than $150. I mentioned that I was still worried to Dad when he suggested we hand the application in at the bank on Friday. He suggested that if I'm this concerned then maybe I should just put off getting a card for now.
Just so you know, in Canada credit cards and bank/debit cards are 2 completely different things. You can not use a bank card online. Actually, I don't even know if I would have actually been approved for for a credit card.
I had hoped to order the Doctor Who Series 4 and 2009 specials DVD sets soon since the US/Canadian dollar is currently even. That was likely going to be one of the first things I ordered if I got my own credit card. Talking about it with Dad, he may let me order them from Amazon on Friday or relatively soon (I'd pay him directly since they should cost less than $100). I'm hoping I can do that when he comes over.
► Cameron planning to revive "Avatar" in August - But it comes out on DVD tomorrow...'James Cameron has disclosed that 20th Century Fox plans to re-release Avatar in August with an additional six minutes of special-effects scenes.'
...Oh, Cameron you douche. Incidentally the DVD release tomorrow is Earth Day. Pretentious douche.
► Leo DiCaprio: Cross-Dressing for Clint Eastwood? - It's not as provocative as it sounds. Apparently they might make a J. Edgar Hoover biopic.
► Bradley Cooper, On Brink Of Stardom, Drops His Longtime Manager - It does sound like a dick move to me. I guess in Hollywood you don't have to dance with the one who brought you.
► 'Dark Knight' Producer Compares Chris Nolan Rebooting Superman To 'The Wrath Of Khan' - That would be ideal (it's exactly what Bryan Singer said he wanted to do for a Superman Returns sequel). But they have to convince me with Christopher Nolan in charge they won't go all moody, depressing and brooding protecting a world that fears him. At this point, with the people attached, I can't see it being anything but that.
At least it's not supposed to be an origin film.
► DC Confirms "Young Justice" Cartoon - This is the second cartoon series, after Teen Titans, to leave out Wonder Girl. Is there some kind of rights issue? She's a major member of the team!
