Are There Any More Disparate Vampire Movies?

► Sliced the underside of my left middle finger on a piece of plastic earlier. It doesn't really hurt and I only noticed it when I was washing my hands afterward, but I decided to finally open that box of Batman band-aids I bought last year. I just wanted to finally use one of them. Batman! He looks so stern as he valiantly protects my wound from dirt and debris.

► I swear I'm going to go insane. Deana finally decided to join and begin playing Mafia Wars on Facebook. I've been playing it since last spring so I'm her tutor and helper. She's already become obsessed with the game and is calling on my help every few minutes, often to explain things I already have. I'm gonna go bonkers!

► Nice. The Amazon.ca order Dad and I placed yesterday shipped at 12:50 this afternoon. The delivery estimate is tomorrow. It's good to be ordering from within Canada again.

► So much for going easier on DVDs this month. I went out with Dad today and I ended up getting 2 for $12 at Sears, 2 for $20 and a $6 previously-viewed one at Blockbuster, and then tonight Deana went out on an errand and returned with Family Guy Volume 7 for me saying "Merry Christmas". I actually feel a bit guilty about that because she could have gotten the set $10 cheaper at Walmart.

There were a couple of minor notable incidents while out. The first was that I started having a panic attack while at the mall when my stomach, which had been irritated, started acting up and I had to go to the bathroom. Luckily I lasted long enough to make the drive to Dad's place (he needed my help with something there anyway). I think it was the pulpy orange juice I drank before bed last night. This is why I prefer the pulpless juice.

My stomach starts to feel uncomfortable and I need to go to the toilet but I don't know where they are and I start getting freaked thinking I'll be sick and then I have a bad attack and that makes my stomach worse. These obsessive worries and panic attacks are a pain. I seem to be getting more panicky lately.

After the stop at Dad's we went to the small strip mall on Ninth street (nearish my apartment actually). While he went into Subway I went to Blockbuster to look around. It's 2 for $20 on DVDs under $14.99 so I was looking for two. I found 2 I wanted and went to the checkout (after picking that third, previously-viewed, $6 DVD. One of the 2-for-$20 DVDs was the 70s German remake of Nosferatu, which had a sticker price of $9.99. The young guy working rung up my purchases but it came up to over $37 and wouldn't accept the discount. The manager came over, picked up the DVD, looked at the screen, and angerly flipped the DVD hard down on the counter saying it was $19.99. Obviously pissed, she walked back to her other counter. I didn't know what was going to happen as the guy rung up the order again. I volunteered that it was the only copy I had seen. In the end I got the 2 for $20 after all, so yay me!

What's odd is that when I got home I peeled back the price tag on Nosferatu and found that there were 3 stickers. The first says $19.99, but the second says $17.99. This makes me wonder if the price was changed (twice!) but just not properly updated in the system.
