A Year of Waiting...
It's been a year since I won a contest held on the Adam Hughes Yahoo Fan Group to name his new website. The contest was run by his girlfriend (who acts as his rep on the group and webmaster). Its been a year and still none of the promised prizes have been sent (which were/are to be surprises, I was really hoping for something cool, as the top winner). I can understand that people get busy (Adam and Allison are both doing the Comic Con circuit at the moment, and Allison has been ill recently), but after a year of waiting and occasionally hearing "we'll be sending them out soon" I suspect that nothing's coming at all.
If that's the case its fine, I'm a grown man and will get over it. I'm just a bit sad about it cause I was so happy to actually have won something for a change and this has sorta taken the wind out of my sails. Guess I'm getting used to long waits for things. :-)
Either way I don't harbour any ill will towards any of them. Just would have been really cool to get something from Adam Hughes.
