House and jumping off the rails

So I was watching TV last night, and I wasn't pleased with what I saw. Some ideas about why I am displeased have been running around in my head, so without further ado...( House thoughts, spoilery )

So in conclusion, I feel that they have gone so OTT with House's character, that they have become too sloppy with ethics and sloppy with the writing. They are dragging the other characters into very unsympathetic situations and cutting corners dramatically. I am not ready to stop watching the show, by a longshot, because with the exception with Cameron I enjoy these characters way too much (even Foreman, pissed off as I may be). However, I hope they stop heading towards the cliff.

What you said. [nods] Beautifully expressed.

See, now, I would have said all this had I not been so strangely squicked by Cuddy doing a complete turnaround with the baby thing. I watch parts of three episodes and I do Not Get It. I think I will not watch any more. HL is a gorgeous thing, but I can't watch this.

*wrings hands* Oh, dear, I didn't mean to scare you off forever! You happened to watch the worst three shows ever in the history of the show. Sereioulsy, I't like the writes got together and did a bunch of coke before putting them together. They have kind of freaked me out completely. It's hard not to look at every bad thing that has happened as kind of a pattern. But honestly, one should never watch a show one doesn't get. I've certainly had the same reaction to shows other friends love.

I am going to watch this week's Lost tonight, and then I'll make up my mind as to how I feel about that show...((hugs))
