deadline
While participating in "Shakey Mondays" at Krolls (buy one get one on shakes WOOT) my ATD told me i needed to get the acting platforms done by the ninth so that he and the TD could go do the Fargo Pub Crawl on Saturday.
In all reality he isn't asking for anything more then what the plan is. We need to have all the acting spaces done by the 12th for rehearsals. and really, even that isn't too bad, cuz its a whopping 9 structural roofs built and installed (all at the most messed up angles you've ever seen) and we just started the first one today. but I have kinda assumed that if all doesn't go well, we will probably be working a bit on that saturday. I'm hoping not, but you never know. I'm just amused that i have to get them done now so that Burke and Dean can go get smashed.
OK, so they were joking. but its funny.
other than that, things in the shop have been going ok. We now have the upper platforms, Orch-hut, and escape steps done and need only to have the stud wall covered in planking (no, i can't get away from the stuff). But first we need to rip it down and get it textured and painted (poor Chip). There are a bunch of little stupid things that keep getting left undone, so every morning starts out slow because of it. I also need to keep better track of the time so we can get out on time and not waste our overtime.

As always, i miss Jason so much. Its nice that we call eachother in the morning and tuck each other in at night, but i miss being in his arms, the hugs, looking into his eyes and seeing how much he loves me. but soon! he's coming to visit on the ninth (well more like the tenth, since he can't leave until after work) we'll say its 12 days away. 68 til i'm back in GB for good.
