livejournal will NOT host your pics for you unless you are a paid account. so ... what you need to do is find a site that will host photos that you upload. i use PhotoBucket (www.photobucket.com) because besides just hosting your pics, they also have the script availible for posting them on various types of sites, so all you need to do to insert pics is copy and paste. its free too!
