road trippin'
so tomarrow is warped tour. that is super cool. so I picked up Amy on my way out to Minneapolis for the show at the Metrodome. and we decided to stop at Kathleen's on the way.
so here was the plan:
Friday: Drive to Amy's near Medford (about 150 miles and four hours) and crash there
Saturday: putz around and then drive to Kathleen's in River Falls (another 150 miles and three hours) and crash there.
Sunday: leave Kathleen's at 9, get to Drew's place in Minneapolis at ten (50 miles, one hour) take the light rail to Warped Tour and have fun til the evening hours. crash at Drew's.
Monday: Drive from Drew's back to Amy's (185 miles and 3.5 hrs) drop her off, drive from Amy's to Green Bay (reverse repeat 150 miles and three hours)
Grand Total: 685 miles and 13.5 hours in four days
that was the plan ... things change. a lot.
what is happening:
Friday: Drive to Amy's, realize I left the tickets back in Green Bay. both of us drive back and to entertain ourselves we drive down to Appleton to go to Sharks, see Matt (yay!)and drive back, crash at my place (about 400 miles and 7 hrs of driving)
Saturday: Drive to Amy's again, chill there, then drive out to Kathleens, watch movies, and crash there. (300 miles, 6 hours)
Sunday: Drive out to where Drew is working on Circus Juvantes, hope he's done by then, otherwise he'll drop us off at Warped Tour and meet us later, LOTS OF AWESOME MUSIC HERE, drive back to Drew's (200 miles, four hours)
Monday: Drive to Fargo (didn't see that coming, now did you) and hang out with my totally awesome fargo friends (DJ and Justin namely). Crash at DJ's (230 miles and 3.5 hrs)
Tuesday: Head back to Amy's, drop her off, then drive back to Green Bay (565 miles and nine hours)
Grand Total: over 1695 miles and 29.5 hours in 5 days, and thats not counting a trip to medford (bout another fifty miles and an hour or so ...)
This weekend is gonna be FUN!
