The Audiojournal Project, Journals 1 and 2.
Okay, so I had a brilliant idea to contribute towards procrastination. Not only procrastination but to do something
(vaguely) musical. Recently I made a mix CD, which was based around my mental state on a particular topic. Now, I've decided to create a series of playlists to describe my mindset on a particular topic. I created the second one last night, and so I will be posting these on LJ as I create them for people to see. Instead of writing long essays on these topics I will let the words of those who have come before me speak for me as I always have.
Audiojournal 1 is titled "on Thoughts Concerning A Stone Fox" These songs were a chronology of my mindset from the moment I met Sammi up until our parting. I probably will never see her again, and I probably won't feel the same, but these songs will help me remember how I felt.

Audiojournal 2 is titled "Leaving Home" and is a lot more chaotic in terms of its order. Seeing as how I'm leaving on a 5-month trip, my thoughts have varied from "This is going to be the most awesome thing I've ever done" to "Oh my God I'm going to be in a foreign city, know nobody, and I'll have to buy a bed " . Still it's been therapeutic to put this together, and it reminds me that this is happening really soon.

There's no real Intended Length for any of these lists, and I'm open to suggestions for what to do my next Audiojournal on. I'll try and keep them going even while I'm away, but I can't make any promises seeing as my supply of fresh music may dry up...
