So today it rained pretty freaking hard, for approximatly ten minutes, and I was driving home from work, and the beretta almost capsized a couple times. The most interesting was when the water swales from my tires actually came up so high that they landed on the roof of the beretta. I think that was the hardest rain I've ever experienced. Whole streets of Madison were flooded, so I had to take two alternate routes to get home, and I saw a bunch of people wading in the streets. I was jealous, that being a favorite pastime of mine.
Other than that... I went to work, which consisted of driving around Waukesha Co. looking for beetles and purple loosestrife while wearing the ever fashionable hip waiters. It was very muggy out so that was lame. Also I didn't like having to make weird awkward conversation with my boss who always likes to discuss immigration and how the country doesn't need anymore people and this and that and all sorts of arguments that are all one sided which I don't feel like participating in. I don't care if its more economical to build the wall rather than to have more guards on the border. People need jobs, so they should all become border patrol, and then we wouldn't have to look like idiots resurrecting the fing Berlin wall.
Other than that, I got a notice from my spanish professor that scares the crap out of me about how my class is going to be very intensive and I should plan on devoting the vast majority of my time to it... Welcome to the summer of espresso, folks. I am going to get an A, even if it kills me.
