The only thing that was close to the actual experience of watching brokeback mountain, was watching it with friends who have become more obsessed than you. True I have been looking forward to it since may, but their level of article reading has outdone me by far. I hate my mouth for stopping me from that post-conversation. Jack brought up the existential question from I heart huckabees, that was so perfect for one thing that I could have jsut ran with. Oh our post-modern world. I'm in a happy place still. That's what brokeback done did to me. I think I'm going to try calling it the male sheephearders whohappenedtobelovers movie, instead of gay cowboys. It just doesn't have the same ring. Also, no where in the short story are they called cowboys, the movie kept bringing it in, but in the right way. They were not considered true cowboys, but that present embodiement of that life. Some such stuff. Need to see it again, and again. Maybe the only movie in theaters I'll see all break. "I wish I knew how to quit you." Oh I was dieing a lot inside. I think that if alex saw my legs kicking in glee any more he might have thought I had turrets. I miss it already. One of the best films ever. True it's not perfect, no A+, but clearly an A. But that made it even better, because perfection is too much. Happy, happy, happy.
