Ugh. Why do I always end up taking these things?
So officially I am doing rowing, maybe even a little coxing later in the year (yelling at a bunch of guys that think they're so tough? yea, I'll show them). Had an awesome night last night with the SocSoc society (Socrates Society - philosophy group) at a Lebanses restaurant discussing the seven deadly sins - or are they? And the night before that I had the first of 2 wine-tasting courses. Phenomenal, that's all I can say.
Am beginning to make more and more non-American friends because of all the lovely activities, and the fact that I'm forward enough to walk up to someone and essentially say "Be my friend". I've found this to be the best thing to do to people who are playing darts, because inevitably they invite me to play with them, which I thoroughly enjoy. "Killer" is the best dart game EVER.
Auditioning for a show today, called WITH LOVE. This will be the first time I get a feel for the drama here, so it should be exciting. I don't even know if they'd really take someone with an American accent for this role (the character's name is Millie...I mean, come on) but we'll see.
