[After a rather nasty encounter on his way home - spoiler alert: Lucy decided he needed to be attacked by a rather vicious dog - Zevran isn't exactly in the best shape...though he does make it all the way to his house, bloody and injured as he is. Housemates may find him on the phone, possibly dripping a bit of blood on the floor, and for everyone ( Read more... )

. . . I-I can try, but I'm . . . getting low on PSI from all the people who got hurt last night. Call for Miss Garnet if I can't do it and Miss Eirin is a normal doctor who can help, too.

What happened?

So I was not the only one? I suppose that makes me feel a bit less foolish, at least.

A rather vicious dog is what happened.

. . . You definitely weren't.

[He subconsciously reaches for his burn wounds.]

The Smiths don't have a dog, though.

No; it happened on my way home, actually. I seem to have wandered into someone's yard, though I do not really recall doing so, or why I would do so.

. . . This had nothing to do with the party? Really? But you just said you weren't . . . the only one.

I believe it is related. You see, the daughter of the man throwing the party drew a picture of it happening to me, hours before I even left.

. . . Lucy? The little girl? I didn't even see her! S-So . . . Lucy made it happen? But that's -- . . .

She was upstairs, in what I assume was her room; her father suggested I meet his family, and I couldn't help but wonder why she was hiding away from everyone else.

When I went up to see her, she gave me a picture of what seems to be me being attacked by a dog. I still have it.

. . . I think that made a lot of things worse going through. Thanks, Mister.

Well. Not that it's good that you got mauled, but.

Hm? What do you mean?

((worse should say 'worth'))

Well. It shows that Lucy was there, which I didn't know, so the party wasn't a distraction for her sake. It also shows that Lucy's more dangerous than her family -- She can control the actions of the whole town, not just us. She controlled you to go into a yard and then the dog to maul you and the family that lived there not to help you.

I suppose I hadn't considered the family...hm. [He seems to be considering this.]

I begin to think I have been too complacent. I had no idea she was dangerous at all before now. Perhaps I should make more of an effort to gather information...?

That's what we were trying to do last night, I think . . .

Oh! I completely forgot -- Um. Where do you live, mister?

1669 Nelson. But if you are running low on strength, my young friend, you need not come! There are other possibilities.

I'm . . . pretty tired.

[And in pain. And unable to sleep because of that.]

But if you need help, I can't just use that as an excuse . . .

But I do have bandages and the like! Even if I cannot find another healer, it might be better for the both of us to wait until you have more strength with which to actually heal me.
