New Phyrexia
I decided to continue my obsessions and buy a box of New Phyrexia from Magic: The Gathering. Unlike the previous set, this one had quite a few cards that I wanted. I actually managed to pull most of the cards that I wanted through this box, though I may have to buy Sheoldred, Whispering One sometime at a card store...maybe Karn too, but I'm not ultra keen on the plainswalker to be honest.
The cards are decent in this set, but the set itself is extremely depressing. The Mirrans have lost the war against Phyrexia, and now the nasty machin critters are turning the plane into their own. I was kinda bummed out; I wanted the Mirrans to win like Serra's People did back in the Urza block...though their victory was pretty pyrrhic...
