So, per the request of JonBolt I will now write something on livejournal.
I have a picture of Dale Meyer (the president of Concordia Seminary St. Louis and Jimmy's Godfather) hanging up in my room. I cut his picture out of the "FOCUS" magazine that had him on the cover, then framed it. Now, when I wake up and walk out the door to take my shower in the morning I say, "Good morning Dale Meyer", and my day is complete.
Josh and I and a few other guys found out that from Sunday to Thursday, Applebees has 1/2 price appetizers and $1.50 domestic draughts after 9:00. How sweet is that? So we're planning weekly outings to watch Sunday night Football at Applebees now since the Sem doesn't have cable. Rumour has it that we're getting cable in December, but I'm not holding my breath. A fuzzy ABC is good enough for me right now.
Josh has poison ivy. His skin looks funny.
My IM team, "Two Bears", captured our first victory in our first flag-football game of the season today. I didn't play much, but I like to think that my playing helped us win. No, I didn't play Quarterback like last year, but as D-lineman I rocked their socks. Then we drank beer and ate Brats after the game. Sem is cool. Be a pastor (this phrase is not intended for women).
