Random Thoughts/Feelings of late.

Yes, XY is awesome and I enjoy listening to it, especially as background music during a conversation. The first thing I did when I opened it though was not listen to it, but decode those stupid colours on the inside and outside. After I did that, the music spoke for itself.

I NEED to see Ben Folds at least once this summer. I missed him in the Spring when he was at Royal Oak (Liam's first play was more important than any band) and I can't go the the Kansas City, MO show because Sean and Shelley just have to get married that day. So I may go to Summerfest in Milwaukee on the 4th of July. Anyone want to join me there? And I am still considering the August 10th show in Highland Park, IL. However, that's on a school night, and I don't know if I'll feel like driving 5 hours back to St. Louis just to go to class the next morning. Maybe it'll be my one time to play hooky. We'll see.

I have to say that "Stolen Away on 55th & 3rd" is one of the worst, if not THE WORST Dave Matthews song ever put on an album. I loathe that song and skip it at every chance I get. It is way repetitive and way boring. I believe the electronic beat in the background is the main culprit of making it blow. I advise you to listen to it, and then never listen to it again.

Ugh...being engaged blows. I mean, it's awesome in the respect that I get to marry Mandy soon, but all of the planning for the wedding is kinda a pain. And everything is so damn expensive. We should just elope, so the wedding is cheap, and then, after an inexpensive honeymoon somewhere, everyone can come over to my house and we can have...yup, Will guessed it...a Wedding Kegger. Well, it could be a nice party, with a keg. I think that would be sweet. However, I think I would feel bad not having a wedding service in a church, and I would always probably wonder what that would have been like. So I guess it's time to apply for a few more loans to pay for this.

I move to St. Louis in 9 days. There is so much I have to do between now and then. I have to pack up all of my stuff. And not just stuff that I'm taking down on Saturday, but stuff that my dad is bringing down to me when he visits a few weeks after I get down there. So I have to decide what I need NOW, and what I will not need until later. I guess I can handle that. I have to work tonight and tomorrow night (which is my last night at the good ol' Cork 'N' Ale) It was probably one of the best jobs I ever had. Thanks Jeff. Then I'm drivin' down to Ohio on Saturday for Haver's wedding. Natalie graduates on Sunday, and the party is at my house that night from 4 till sometime so if you're in the area come on over to Hemlock and par-tay. Monday is my mom's 50th birthday, so my grandma, my mom, my sister (possibly Jordan) and I are driving up to Mackinac Island for the day. Pretty sweet. Tuesday I have to go to my last Youth Board meeting and pass on my Youth Leader torch. I'm not looking forward to this meeting because my bosses were pretty mean and condescending to me while I was Youth Director. Once Tuesday is over, I will feel like a burden has been lifted. Wednesday I believe is nothing important, so I'll probably try to get together with a few Saginaw people for one last time before I move. Thursday I think I'm driving down to CUAA to hang out with those folks for one last CUAA horrah and then watch game 4 that night (GO STONES!) Friday is Aaron and Cara's wedding and Mandy and I get to be the guest book attendants for that. This will also be the last time I'll see Mandy for a long while. Then on Saturday I get up early, pack the car, and drive for 8 hours to my new home in St. Louis. What a whirlwind tour until then. I'll make the most out of this Michigan while I still have the chance.

Whelp, that's about it for my life as of now. Until next time, enjoy the beautiful weather Michigan, and get off your butts and exercise.
