Things looking better

It has been an overwhelming month, to say the least.

I've ran major damage control on my semester. By the point I had resolved to make a difference, it was too late. I managed to get a doctor's note and finally successfully withdrew from both of the classes I was going to fail. I got an incomplete for my cinema production class, and for my photography I can either hand in the work on the 23rd of again have an incomplete.

So my GPA isn't hurt, and I have until May to do the rest of my work.

Am I ashamed about all of this? Of course. But I've worked through much worse problems than this, so I can do this.

It's just nice to have the semester officially over, despite this now meaning I'll be working fulltime at my job. Please, if you can find me a real job in NY, let me know. It was a fun novelty last year to work a regular job in retail, but this year it's the same shit. I'm almost considering giving my two week's notice and desperately scrambling, but I don't want to give up being able to rent everything from the store (Waldenbooks). I love reading those cheesy mangas, I'm a fag. Not to mention how no matter how much bullshit a job give you, it can at least give you the comfort of knowing you're needed and feeling normal.

Everything that is happening right now I view as a learning experience that will hopefully make me stronger, regardless of the circumstance.

I would also like to express my love for zyko and Kassie, who I feel like are my older siblings at this point. I know we've only started talking more often recently, but it's been very helpful. And that goes for anyone who's watching out for me and has my back.

Tomorrow should be fun, though. Someone I know from out of state is coming to visit with a friend, and we're going to go into Chinatown.

Overall things are looking a little brighter (ie getting the cancerous courses removed), and hopefully I'll continue to work things out.
