i just learned for the first time that Nashville Skyline was made in 1969. This blows my mind. I had always thought that Lay Lady Lay and Country Pie were part of some weird period sort of later on..hmm. It's interesting to think of it like that.
Anyway. I had a pull to do my five favorite songs too.
The order doesn't mean anything.
1. Piazza, New York Catcher is one of my favorite songs too.
2. Stevie Wonder?
3. Some Bob Dylan song?? Maybe Buckets of Rain, Lay Lady Lay, "my love is like some raven at my window with a broken wing" that one..
4. Orphan Girl - Gillian Welch and everybody
5. Fox Confessor, the album as a whole
