Gratitude

Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year, and not because of the turkey, though good. Any day dedicated to giving thanks beats other days. Gratitude is the quality which heals, both the heart and the sick. It brings thought closer to God, Love, and restores harmony. Few things are better, to me, than giving thanks for the many blessings given to us by God.

Here is a brief list of the many things I'm grateful for this year, in no particular order:

-A WONDERFUL relationship with a fantastic, funny, fun, loving, and soul-filled girl
-Needed lessons learned about dating, love, life, etc.
-Caring friends who host me for Thanksgiving and show me a fun time
-My parents, whose unending support of me will always leave me in awe
-Angel messages
-Christian Science, for showing me how to feel closer to the true God, who is wonderful LOVE
-Getting to act in a Bennington show and have it be Shakespeare at that
-Working for The Mother Church this summer and growing spiritually and finding more light
-Helping to produce a conference on the Rwanda Genocide and Art Reconciliation, and the perspective gained
-The totally uplifting Spiritual Activism Summit this summer
-Starting a spirituality group at Bennington
-Pumpkin Pie
-Gaining courage (perhaps foolish) to apply to grad school next year
-Trying to do what I love
-Friends, friends, friends
-Humility and grace and happiness
