havent updated for a while. R was away for Christmas, had three weeks to myself and loved it, although walking and feeding the dogs twice a day started to become a bit much by the last week. I started out really good with early dog walk then go for a run or ride, come back and feed the dogs, then breafast for me. In all I was starting at 6am and done by about 9.00 but then id be exhausted and sit around for the morning, by 12.00 it was so hot i didnt want to go out or do anything and id loose all the day, then by 5pm it was dog walking again, then feeding and trying to figure out my dinner. i was ended up eating by 8pm and then staying up till 10 or 11. So by the last week Id had it. I stopped working out completely for the last week and of course over Christmas you spoil yourself a bit so was eating total shit. When R got back on the 27th, I was worried about stepping on the scale. Sure enough i was back up to 72kg, then over the next few days strangely put on another kg. Yikes 73 sucks. It doesnt look much difference, but I hate the number. i really wanted to be dipping under 70 by now. Im back on running and riding and even got a swim in. Just have to watch what I eat again and stay focused.

R is already anoying me. I bring up the dogs food bowl and he has left some food. Im putting it in a container and she asks, "oh hasnt he eaten all his food" Well fuck me that is quick of you. These the the stupid questions i constantly have to answer from her. I switch off so much these days and she just twitters on and on. She has become so lazy since she got back. her friends are all away and she has no interests other than school and talking to her school friends about school, so since she cant do that she just sleeps. She came back saying she had put weight on. Does she do anything about it? No just stamps around the house on her heals sounding like an elephant and looking like one. She quite often now has conversations with her parents about their illnesses or percived illnesses. they are hypocondracts of the first class and she is too. ALL of their problems are brought on by lack of exercise, but if I bring it up she gets so defensive that it is yet another one that i just dont bother talking to her about anymore.

i came across the movie Cocktail the other day. I looked up to see if it was based on a book and sure enough it is and both the book and movie are written by the same person. But the movie is a very watered down hollywood version. the book is much more gritty and intersting. Reviews slammed the author for selling out, but the movie has always had a small following and grown over the years. The author has a few other books out which id like to read too. I find his style interesting in how he tells the story.
