keep on running

Its been a bit of an up and down week. Ive felt great with the weight, although the last couple of days i skipped running as Ive been trying to go do this stupid roof job. Ironically I still cant get out of the house early enough to beat the heat. But anyway, I skipped a bit of running and had a blow out with junk food and booze, but seem to still have in under control. Ran this evening and weighed in at a respectable 71.3. The big problem is my achilles heal is starting to play up again. Im worried im going to keep pushing and it will freak out again and I wont be able to put weight on it again for weeks or run for months. I cycled on Sunday at the mountain bike track! Hadnt done that in over a year! yikes thats terrible. i only managed one lap before it was just too hot and I was too exhausted. A couple of the climbs that I use to grind up, I just couldnt do and had to take a break. I should do more of that and give my foot a bit of a rest at the same time. tonights run i just flew. i found this great pace and i can feel with the lost of the weight how my legs just carry so much easier.
