Boat

Well we finally got a new boat, and I'm really excited about it. Since we sold our old fishin boat, I was pretty sure our new boat would just be a big new fishing boat, but I went w/ my dad today out in Leander(sp?) to look at a 97' 15' Boston Whaler. When we were heading out there we noticed that the roads started looking more and more reclusive, which is not a very good sign for the person you would be buying a boat from, but when we got to the house it was nearly a manshion. The shop he kept his boats in was about half the size and height of a baseket ball court. Anyway he had two boats for sale, one a huge (probably 50,000) Ski boat, and the one we were looking at. Turns out it was practically brand new, it only had 112 hours on it, which is about as much as you could put on it in a long weekend if you wanted. But long story short, its practically brand new, boston whaler is a tip top of the line company, the guy just bought a brand new $1,400 trailer for it, and we got it all together for under 6k.
As an aside, when my dad was signing over the title, the guy noticed our street and thought he knew the adress...turns out he's the reginal vice president of Lenar Homes. Which is who built our current house, and it was probably this guys decision to build that big ass wall thats infron of our house.
But the goodnews is that since it was less than half of what were going to get a fishing boat for , if we find another amazing deal we might get a real fishing boat for Bayside which leaves the super awsome ski boat here for me and my joyrides. Oh and it has a 175hp motor, which my dad said, "will scare the shit out of you." So if anyone wants a ride, lemmie know.
