Having just discovered how to do the whole photobucket thing, I'm all aglow with... well, with the discovery. So here are some random photos I took in the last year, and there are rainbows and sunsets because they're pretty and I am a girl.
1.
Disneyworld - or rather, Epcot, this summer.
2.
On route to Florida, this summer. All in all, Florida (and Wisconsin) had the most gorgeous sunsets I have ever seen in my LIFE.
3.
Taken on the train from Haifa to Tel Aviv about a month ago.
4.
Rainbow in Haifa, whoo! Taken from the Rambam hospital parking lot. In the background you can see a little but of the Navy base where lil sis is currently serving, and this is the first time I've actually seen the end of a rainbow. It went right into the ocean.
5.
Rainbow outside Atlanta. Do not, I repeat do NOT attempt to drive a vehicle when there's a rainbow outside. If at all possible, avoid me when driving a vehicle when there's a rainbow outside.
6.
Rainbow over the university. Except you can't really see the university itself.
7.
Yom Kippur Eve, when even the secular towns are suddenly not. In the background is an Arab village which is probably the best view in the area, and the sun is setting, and if you were there you wouldn't hear a single car.
8.
A carob tree. When they talk about things being bathed in the sun's golden light, this is what they're talking about.
9.
Lech, Austria last year. This is what I want the weather to be like right now.
10.
Another pic, this time from Flirsch. Crispy whiteness, non-depressing cemeteries, mmmm.
11.
Arriving train.
12.
Tel Aviv, from the university train station.
13.
The only Christmas decoration I saw when I went to midnight mass in Jaffa three (four?) weeks ago. That and another tree somewhere.
14.
My stupid, stupid dog with her decidedly Stitch-ian expression.
I will now check and see if this works.
ETA: Yay! It works!
