Have you guys seen the trailer for Powerless? I didn't even know this series was in the making, but I hope it's good because the trailer looks right up my alley:
It's a sitcom that takes place in the official DC Universe, about an R&D team working at Wayne Enterprises. The cast is straight out of Comic-Con, with Vanessa Hudgens, Danny Pudi, and Alan Tudyk playing Bruce Wayne's cousin.
SO. That seems like it could be fun. In unrelated news the Falcons are going to the Super Bowl! I do not follow the NFL for real, but whenever I do I root for the Falcons, because of both old and new reasons.
Old:
1. One of my best friends lives in Atlanta and is a huge Falcons fan (= most important reason)
2. When she pitched them to me she made their quarterback (Matt Ryan, aka Matty Ice) sound like Matt Saracen so as far as I'm concerned Matt Saracen is the Falcons' QB.
3. They're kind of the underdogs! This is their first time in the Super Bowl for a really long time! Yay.
New:
1. SAM WILSON IS THE FALCON. I can only imagine he's rooting for them.
2. I saw a falcon this weekend! Clearly it's a sign.
3. Chris Evans is a huge Patriots Fan, so in my head this Super Bowl is basically Chris Evans vs Sam Wilson, which, uh. Makes sense in my brain and makes it funner.
Anyway I will be in Berlin for the Super Bowl with said friend, who I'm sure is dismayed she won't actually be in Atlanta with her team in the championship, but we'll find someplace to watch and hopefully end the weekend without my friend being heartbroken.
