Meanwhile in Yuletide: I'm excited about my assignment! I'm not sure yet whether to write something shorter or longer, and I suspect this year I'll have to brainstorm a little and maybe even ~outline a structure~, who knows. I'm also happy with all of the fandoms I requested - Captive Prince, Borgen, Hysteria, and Belgariad/Malloreon - to a degree where I really want Yuletide to arrive so I can read fic in one of those already.
Meanwhile in Bound & Determined: can I get a resolved-UST-five for anyone following this 'verse whose read the latest chapter of the most recent B&D AU? Not entirely resolved but oh jesus, that was satisfying.
Meanwhile in hockey: larger and larger batches of the season are being canceled, the Winter Classic and more importantly the HBO reality series that goes with it have been canceled, and I really wish we at least had a date when we knew the season would begin! But we do not, so I am letting it go, and comforting myself with the fact that I am fantasizing to go to Berlin sometime in the next 2 months to visit friends, and if the lockout is still going on I will at least be able to catch Claude Giroux and Danny Briere playing in Berlin. Also there are good fics (*recced x 1000) and pics of hockey players looking like porn so things aren't too bad.
Meanwhile in the real world: I've been reading everyone's hurricane reports, and am glad you are safe, and hope life goes back to normal as soon as and as painlessly as possible. ♥
(As you can see, I have become quite the master of natural segues. Sorry about that.)
