I don't know what to say about Egypt; I don't know enough to say anything about Egypt, and I'm not going to pretend to be some kind of Middle East expert just because I live here. Anyone who believes this is going to lead to a just and democratic regime in Egypt -- there are people who think that, right? I haven't imagined it? -- I wish I could live in their world. As a bystander, though, all I have now is vague uncertainty and trepidation, witnessing what's going on south of the border. I wish for the people of Egypt to end up with the best possible government for them, whatever that may be; I wish that whatever government that may be, it will respect Egypt's past and current agreements with Israel; yes, I'm looking at this from a selfish point of view, sorry. This isn't something happening across an ocean. This is... I don't know. Tense. I find myself equally hopeful and pessimistic and detached. So.

So, I am up way too late again, hurrah. I have, stuck in my head, the phrase klicka här. It's just going klicka här klicka här klicka här with this weird cartoon voice. This is what happens when you spend all day at work looking at different countries' banners and pop-ups. It's all "Gagnez un iPod!" and "Play for free!" and "Klicka här", which just sounds like some lady's name, I don't know. I learn the usefullest things. (Klicka här! It just makes you want to click something.)

So this is one of the most gorgeous photos of Adam Lambert I have ever seen

And, a few Bandom posts I read today re:Spencer reminded me of how much I love

roebling, which is Brendon/Spencer and warm and happy and "inspired by my deep and abiding love for Spencer's pudge". And which I'm now not sure whether or not is appropriate in the context of the discussion! So, uh. I hope it is. It's just, so sweet.
(I feel like I should say that for the record, I will never comment about Spencer's weight, nor, I hope, have I ever, but I fully reserve the right to comment about his facial hair. Facial hair is within the limits, right? Right? Because I will be lost without it.)
