(no subject)
OMG 13 days two hours. Leave a comment if you write 100 words of your yuletide within 12 hours of reading this post (for the benefit of locals who are already asleep) and you will get cheers and hugs and confetti! If you've already finished your fic (as I know some of you have), I bow down before thee. Hats off, you rule.
(I don't even know why I am writing another Idol fic instead of Yuletide, except that, okay, it is crossovery and fun, but still. Bad self!)
It is almost Hanukkah! Tonight my roommates and I had midnight pancakes, for the sake of practicing for latkes. A trial run of my flipping techniques. Just last year I was a wobbling flipping fledgling, but under the tutelage of my previous roommate I have become a mean flipper, guys, I kid you not. As long as the object being flipped has a diameter of less than 10cm, I'm your gal.
Hmm. I have not been keeping up with the news at all (like, at all). Today's 2AM headline is that the government is considering pushing for a law that would require a (binding, I think) referendum to be held in the event of a peace treaty that would involve Israel retreating from the Golan Heights or East Jerusalem. I am all for this if it would mean the majority voting yes, and totally against it if it would mean the majority voting no, and since there's no way to know what the majority would vote unless a vote is actually held, my opinion is 100% useless.
Okay, WRITING NOW. REALLY. I will ETA once my wordcount goal for tonight is filled.
ETA: 5am and tonight's wordcount goal is met with only about 50% procrastination :D
