OMG, this is what American Idol RPF fandom has done to me: I now want to slash contestants of Kochav Nolad together. I FEEL SO VERY, VERY WRONG. ONE OF THESE GUYS IS A FRIEND OF MINE'S COUSIN. Seriously, it makes me feel dirty :-(
however, if any of you want to discuss these hypothetical pairings with me -- or even just the similarities between AI and KN contestants, because wow, there are some freaky similarities -- please let me know.
Also, it just made me LOL to think about what the American Idol LIVE tour would look like in the Israeli version. They'd get on a bus and, like, drive for half an hour and perform, and then drive for another half hour and perform, and then they'd bunk at Beit HaChayal in Beer Sheva or something for the night and perform twice more the next day, and the tour would be over.
In other irrelevant news, I just took the Which American accent do you have? quiz, and got: Western. Western is kind of neutral, but not quite since it`s still possible to tell where you`re from. So you might not actually be from the West (but you probably are). If you really want to sound "neutral," learn how to say "stock" and "stalk" differently.
I learned my accent in California and through Californian-based TV, so I think they got it right. And yeah, I say 'stock' and 'stalk' the same. (How else can you say them?)
