Ironbound Range, South Coast Track, Tasmania

Unlike the scenes the previous day, we lucked out with fantastic weather for our assault n the Ironbound Range. This photo was taken about 300m above the Louisa River campsite, only one third of the way up the range. The steep 900m descent through mud and heavy foliage is psychologically challenging. As such, there aren't any photos of that bit.
