It's official.
I'm the most arrogant ass on the planet.
Why, you may ask?
So, if you didn't know, in Alberta we have Diploma Examinations worth 50% of our final mark. That's pretty much all the background you need to know.
My mark in English was a 96% for the class portion. I just got my diploma marks. My Diploma Mark was an 85%.
Needless to say (or not so much), I wasn't happy.
In fact, my reaction was something like this.
Nolan: What did you get?
Me: 85%.
Nolan: Oh! I beat you! I got a 90%!
Me: lskdjflaskjdlfaksj!!!?!?!?!? How the hell did you do that?! I was beating you by like ten percent.
Nolan: Apparently... they liked my writing.
Me: How could they like your writing!? How?! I'm clearly the better writer!
Everyone else: ......
I really shouldn't care that much. It makes me look like a huge ass. But... my writing WAS better than his! It really was!
...I'm not helping my case at all, am I?
...So... In other news, I passed my AP Calculus unit final with a 51! Class Average was a 58, so that scales up to... about an 80.
Take that, Nolan.
