Actually, I lie. I don't leave Brisbane on the 14th, but the 9th. That's three weeks today, aah! Also, I move out of Wedd St. next fortnight.
There's a token cheap flight that day, and I realised that the plan for a big last weekend here with ramone-a-thon/other shows would just mean I piss away more money and get guilt aboot it. So I'm leaving a bit earlier. I arrive in Melbourne at 8:40am, Thursday November 9.
I couldn't be fucked staying any longer. License will expire then, car rego expires then (I can't get a roadworthy cert. without spending too much money so I have to abandon it or sell it to the wreckers it seems =[). Can't go to work as a result. Any other work I could find would just delay the inevitable.
Any help with jobs (even if its just part-time temping/doing door for bands/whatever at first) or with a spare room that'll be ace. I'll be camping out at Fitzroy with Gwen and Adam first, but I'd like a room quickly obviously.
In the meantime, Brisbane people, let's hang out! I'm going to miss you lots, have been thinking a lot aboot it. I'm not working too much so let's party. I'm free during the days, and after about 7/8pm weeknights. And all weekends (except 28-30 Oct as I'm in Adelaide). I have one more Anonymeye gig before I go, with Animal Collective from the states and The Lost Domain at the zoo Fri Nov 3. It's pretty expensive (around $40 presold), but it'll be worth it. They should be amazing! Let's eat tacos, drink beer and crack funnies!
ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT
I'm moving out of Wedd St., so we need a new person at our place. $110 p/w inclusive of gas/heating/water (but not phone/internet). We have fast internet. Living with the lovely Sarah and Kate. If yr interested, let one of us know ASAP. It's a really amazing house to live in, and I'm going to miss it more than anything. Ready to move into this time in a fortnight. If you need to store stuff before that's cool too, let us know.
