Welly well...
Since the last time I posted I have...
* joined the gym. which has been pretty good when i'm motivated, which i usually have been. fitness first, valley. join so i have more friends in the steam room and shower. we can all watch tv together.
* almost completed Anonymeye album. all done except for two tracks; one just has to be hyper-edited somewhat below its current 14 min track time; and one just needs lots of work. its fkn annoying this finicky editing stage.
* made more visits to aldi. it rules.
and i'm sure other things too, but these are some of them. played a few shows, and thought about the soup place in the queen st mall foodcourt.
Okay so there's a lot on this weekend, but biasedly suggest these two:
Friday. Grey Daturas / Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood / Ambitious Lovers / Frou-Frou Foxes / Ox Quartet. Jamie's Espresso Bar Carpark. 7pm - 11pm. $8
I'm playing in Ox Quartet/Magic Johnson and his Hearing Aids/Weddings, Parties, Vomiting/whatever; with most of On/Ox, Kahl from Ghost Ships/Rockinghorse and I get reasonably doom-strual on two gtrs/two drummers/sax/laptop. I'm only performing with laptop which is exciting, havent done that before sans guitar.
Saturday. Rauberhohle (Germany), Minipli 225 (Germany), Molliger, Toxic Lipstick, Turnpike, Collapsicon, Deep Trouble, loads of others. Shamrock. 8 or 9pm onwards until hell late. $7
should also be amaaaazing, cant wait to see the germans, and to crazy party at the shamrock - 2003! 2003!
