its been 1 week since you looked at me......ok make that 1 month
so it's come to my attention that i havent really wrote anything here in a month. i know i meant to, but i was either to tired, or bored, or just didnt have anything much to say.
james and i made it back from the U.P. safely, (in case none of you could tell)....we got a kind of bumpy start, and ended up not leaving the day we had planned. due to some technical difficulties with the bike rack. and we ended up having to buy a new one. so since we left 1 day later than planned, we stayed an extra day. we camped in st. ignace for 2 nights. saw some sites around there. and went to the island twice. we biked around it 2 days. 1st day up into the middle of it, seeing all types of different landmarks and whatnot. 2nd day we biked around the outside of it...(8miles)...the 2nd day, we also took a carriage tour around the whole island. i got a bunch of pictures and learn alot of interesting tid bits about the island. after 2 days of camping in st. ignace,we got a hotel room. it was nice to get a hot shower and sleep in a real bed.the room had a hot tub, which was awesome and relaxing. as well as a really nice view of the lake.the next day we left to go down to where his mom and aunt live. we visited with them for a while,before retreating to yet another beautiful campground. this time at Clear Lake National Park. the lake was soooo clear,hence the title of the park,hah. we went swimming the 2nd night we stayed there, the 1st night we just walked around in the sand by the water. it was a really fun awesome time up there. while we were up there, we celebrated our 1 year anniversary, which was the main reason for the trip. he bought me a very pretty silver butterfly necklace. on the way up, and also on the way back down we stopped at Sea Shell City. its a nifty lil place, and i got a BUNCH of shells and things. and needless to say, we made it home safe and sound.
so, today i FINALLY got my car in for a car wash. lemme tell ya it needed it, like 3 months ago (if not longer...hah) i got the $10 one,which came with a free air freshener, and wow my car not only looks shiny and clean, it also smells really gooood haha. after the car wash james and i left to go to the library. while passing thru a intersection, i saw Triina, and was greeted by a loud Hey Holly!!!....which made me feel really happy and special. boy i miss my friends. i really need to get all of my friends together sometime...tho im not sure when, since everyones gonna be leaving for school soon. perhaps i can get everyone around to go to the Myriad concert, in Ann Arbor.
james and i went and saw Snakes on a Plane, it wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be. in fact it was pretty funny. go see it if ya want *shrug*
anyways i dont really know what else to say, cept im sleepy and tired, and im never driving home from james' house at 3:30 in the morning AGAIN!!...
