James and i went and saw P.O.D. friday night at Clutch Cargos in
Pontiac. it was awesome. they played for almost 2 hours. they played
with Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, The Chariot and Pillar. we
missed the first band. we managed to work our way up to about the 3rd
row, during the chariot and pillars sets. Pillar was really good,
better than the last time i saw them a few years ago at C-stone. The
Chariot are pretty good too. i was having a really good time, except
for one girl who was being, for lack of a better word, a jerk. all
pushing at me and crap, trying to make me move, and getting pissy cuz
i'd bump into her. but thats what happens when you're in the front at a
show. if she didnt want to get pushed around, she shouldnt have come up
to the front. she'd all whisper to her bf, and he'd look at me and
crap. and they'd both push at us. i wasnt goin to be moved, cuz i
wanted to be up front. finally after they realized i wasnt goin to
move, they both just left, and went to the back. haha i
win...losers....haha. i turned to look at james, and i saw em in the
back all talking to the security guy i was like "what the heck...."
haha....morons. anyways, after they moved, it was much better. Sonny
was all coming out in the crowd, standing on the barricade and people
were holding him up by his legs and hands. it was sweet. they played a
bunch of songs, from pretty much all of their albums. they left the
stage, and then came back for an encore. where they played Goodbye For
Now, and then Outcast....it was sweet. the singers from Pillar and
Maylene joined Sonny at the front of the crowd, being held up by the
barricade and hands of the people in the crowd. it was awesome. then
the singer of Maylene jumped out in the crowd. the singer of the
Chariot was up on stage singing and jumping around with the rest of the
band and other people. overall the show was amazing. and i cant wait to
see them again. at C-stone perhaps?? dunno....
i think i went deaf for a bit. prolly cuz we were right in front of the
speakers. cuz while the crowd was chanting "P O D.....P O D....." for
the encore, it was all echoing in my ears and such. and i could hardly
hear myself talk. it was awesome....thats a sure sign that it was a
good show....
wow i dont really have much more to say, im gonna go to james new
place. he just moved like 10 minutes from my house. we moved all his
stuff to his new place over the course of a couple days.
i got a call about a possible job today, working with my friend olivia,
that'd be pretty sweet. i hope the guy calls back, cuz i missed the
call, and called him back, but he wasnt in....we'll see....
thats all for now...
