(no subject)
It's been a while since my last update but I've been very busy. The show that I am rehearsing for opens 2 weeks from today. We have been ready for quite a while now but we are still pumping out rehearsals 4 days a week for some reason. The cast is growing tired and bored of the matterial which, in my opinion, is lethal for a production. These are only 6 of us and we are very close with each other. I think our recent rehearsals were basically to keep the production team entertained.
Also on the agenda is another show that I will be directing this spring at Lamphere High School. I chose "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" due to the lack of vocal talent that we have. It is a good show none the less. Also getting ready to do a presentation to direct "The Jungle Book" this summer for Stagecrafters Youth Theatre. If I don't get ownership of directing the show I won't be sad. I have plenty of other things I can be doing with my time. After all, I will be auditioning for Disney's AIDA in February and most of my spring will be spent in those rehearsals so I could use a break.
New Years will be spent at 2 parties. One in Beverly Hills at a friends house and another one in Rochester at a friends house as well. Looking foward to seeing my friends again and seeing what they have been up to.
Other than that, my Christmas break has been spent relaxing, cleaning, doing laundary and shopping for myself. =)
