i cant believe i made such a rookie taper mistake!! damn it, i SUCK!!
i figured out what i did to fuck up my recording of the second Chicago show (11/29/02). when i change batteries before the show, i took the old batteries out of the DAT and proceeded to replace them with the same fucking batteries (i did not put the new batteries in the recorder). so i only recorded about 40 minutes of the show. :( when i noticed that the deck was not recording, i tried to get it going again. which just made the deck very 'angry' and it ate the tape, so i have no way of salvaging what i did get of the recording.
luckily there were two other tapers at the show, so we will have a complete recording of the show. which is a good thing because it was my favorite of the four Scarlet's Walk shows that i attended so far.
