Well, although I have nothing against vegen's and vegetarianism as a personal choice. Many vegens have been trying to force and push their personal choices on other people and trying to get legislation passed to either ban or severely hinder livestock farming. THAT I have a big problem with.
I am a life-long bonafide meat eater, my father worked as a foreman at a hog farm for most of his life til he retired, I worked there when I was younger and worked for a pork processing plant for a while, so I have seen and taken part in the entire process from birth to plate and still love pork. My family also hunts and we eat wild game whenever we can get it.
But tell a militant vegen or Peta nut that an I am immediately labeled a "Murdering, sick, evil, twisted bastard that enjoys torturing innocent animals", when in fact I am VERY much into animal rights and respecting the animals that were sacrificed so that I may live. I am so sick of militant vegens attacking me and trying to "convert" me to the supposidly rightous path of vegetarianism. So when I saw there was a community that looked like it feels the same way, I was excited.
