I was saving this vid for when I had a major headache...

But since I recently snagged this spiffy new icon, I thought I would post it now instead.

Okay, now that all the frivolity is out of the way, on to then real post!

I have been in a pretty good mood this past week or so. Pretty much since after work Friday, I have been feeling pretty good about things. Did A LOT of thinking and sorting things out this weekend. Got some things worked out in my head and I am feeling pretty good about a few things, so thats always a good thing. Got to hang out with my friends and family, and got a loan and paid off some of my more annoying bills. So all in all, its been one of the better weekends I have had.

One thing I have noticed throughout the past 8 years. From the time I went from being crippled, broke and broken up with, unemployed and without a car right in the middle of a semester of college (which I had just paid for out of pocket and later had to drop out of since I couldn't get rides to class), is that even when things are at their worst, when there seems to be no hope or light at the end of the tunnel. Things will ALWAYS get better. Maybe not by much at first, and maybe not as much as you would like things to get better. But slowly, surely, and with a lot of patience, hard work, and effort... you can make things better in your life. In my case, a lot of it had to do with changing my own outlook in life and changing the way I dealt with a lot of things, but most of it boiled down to hard work, patience, and perserverance (of which I had almost NONE 8 years ago).

So to everyone that may be reading this that is going through a tough time right now, try to keep your hopes and spirits high. Things may suck for a long time, look bleak and hopeless. But stay positive, work hard, make the most of opportunities and maybe even make a few of your own, and try to be the change you want within your own life, and things will begin to get better. Maybe slowly, even almost imperceptibly, they will get better.
