Easter Recap
Well had a pretty good Easter. Went out to my mom and dads early Sunday morning and got to hang out with my brother Roger and his family. I got a chocolate bunny from my parents. They always get me one every year even though I am 31 years old *lol*. Oh well its nice that they still do little things like that. I also got to hang out with my nephew Tanner for a little bit before all of us headed out to my brother Bills house since they wanted to host Easter dinner.
While we were waiting for dinner to get done, my sister in law Deb and my dad wanted to read some of my work from my Creative Writing class. They really liked my work. They especially liked my one act play. I was hoping that no one would find it too offensive or anything, but they took it for what it was intended to be. But I am glad that they enjoyed my writing.
But after a while we had a nice dinner of a pork roast and all the fixins. It was a pretty good dinner and afterwards, we had cake and ice cream. The cake was shaped like an Easter egg, so that was interesting and kinda cool (hopefully my brother will send me some pictures). But after a bit I headed home and messed around online and watched some movies until around 2 am.
Got up this morning and felt horrible. Not sure if I picked up a bug going around or what, but I had no energy and pretty much just stayed in bed after I got Richard taken care of and everything. Around 3 o'clock I got up and ready to go to my Creative Writing class. I did feel a little better after I got up and got a shower and everything, but I still didn't feel all that great.
Class went fairly well. The teacher pretty much just talked to us individually about our projects, how we were doing, and if we were having any problems. I was the last person to talk with him so I wound up chatting and talking about writing with him for a good half hour or so.He thought I had a real talent for writing and encouraged me to sign up for Creative Writing 2 here soon. He even wanted a copy of my play that I wrote for the Drama section! So after that I felt much happier. The consensous among my teacher, friends, and family (and from a few on here as well) is that I have a real talent for writing so I have been thinking about getting a degree in Creative Writing.
But we'll see how everything goes here the next couple of months.
After I got done with class, I went and ate dinner at the Asian Buffet again and then headed out to the lake and walked around it for a little while. It was a bit chilly, but the weather wasn't too bad. I walked about 2 miles and then headed home.
After I got home I wrote for a bit on my Creative Writing assignment and then settled in to watch some tv since Bizarre Foods and No Reservations were both on tonight.
Still don't feel all that great, like I have no energy and I kinda feel like someone beat me up or something *lol*. Hopefully I'll feel better by tomorrow.
