Well I know I have not updated this in a looong time. So I figured while I am procrastinating that it was high time to update everyone. First of all...GO HEELS! I am so blessed to be here at a time when UNC wins a National Championshipe in basketball. Seriously, the whole glory of Carolina Basketball came full circle for me on the fourth. I was alive when they won the last championship, of course, but I was not really into Carolina Basketball at that time, so this championship was really special. Speaking of the National Champions the day after I went to buy shirts and I ended up getting 6 of them and a hat (not all for me!) Only 2 of the shirts were for me and the rest were for family back at home, although now I have been told I need to find a way to send them home because my brother wants to show off his shirt. I will have to see what I can do tomorrow. I am so relieved to be finished with tests temporarily (until the 22nd I think). Although I have 3 papers due in the next three weeks or so, that should be interesting. I went to see my advisor the other day and she said I was not really behind so I don't have to worry (whew!) and she said I can pull off being a history minor. So of course instead of taking a GC class next semester I am taking a History course :-p. I will have to face the dreaded GC requirements soon though. So my schedule next semester is jam packed but I know God will give me the strength to finish the race he has put before me and he will guide and direct my paths along the way. However, that does not mean you should not pray for me!! Oh! I almost forgot, this Thursday is my last Chemistry Lab of my undergrad career, I am so excited, I will be even more excited when I finish with my actual class that goes with the lab.
Joy Jam at the Bible Church on Friday was fantastic, it was truly through God that we all sounded that good :) I am hoping if my schedule is not too busy in the upcoming weeks that I will be able to see one of the groups there at Wake Forest on the 23rd (the boys were such cuties, and they can "sang")! Saturday night was also fun, I was able to be with Holly when she ordered her first drink *gasps* it was so funny because the waitress took a double take and then asked for identification. We all had an awesome time and made gluttons of ourselves. So obviously I have not been doing much studying this weekend, oh well everyone deserves a break. And the studying continues next week, for now it is off to Heels practice.
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
