Yesterday was busy and fun. Is that an oxymoron? So I went to Walmart and the Dollar Store with BeccaHolReeni, Katie, and Gary. It was my first time meeting Gary and Katie but I liked them both. We were shopping for various things but the main mission was to find birthday stuff for Reeni's roomie Sarah. And my mission was to get essential food items for my room. Well I ended up getting a couple of non essential things; ie jellybeans and mixed nuts. Hey what can I say? I was hungry when I was shopping. So afterwards Hol and I went to Franklin and ate at Peppers Pizza (after much debate over where we really wanted to eat) and had a serious conversation. But just leave it to Nureena and her assortment of friends to liven the night up. Hol and I were waiting for Reeni and talking about the atmosphere of Jack Sprat, the new coffee place on Franklin. And I said, "This looks like some fancy coffee." Hol who is hearing impaired, thought I said, "Big Sushi." Oh so funny! The coffee shop did have some good tea and good pie and cheesecake...I will have to keep that in mind for future reference. Anyway, Reeni finally showed up (I am just jokin she did quite well, only two minutes late) and we all got a table and talked/ate. But we were getting a little tight and pulled up another table. While we were talking somehow we got on the topic about what exactly saurkraut is, if you don't know it is pickled cabbage. Well we were talking about pickled cabbage and Hol thought we said pickled cow manure..so yet again we busted out laughing. Around that time one of our friends stumbles in the coffee shop drunk. I seriously don't know how he got in there because I thought he was going to pass out or fall over any minute. Luckily, he is a cute drunk and not a depressed or angry one...so we all had a good laugh. Hol told me we probably shouldn't be laughing but I could not stop laughing. So basically this was the night of laughs.
Oh and in between everything I finally got to talk to my Uncle Ruffin who I have been trying to get up with for two days and we have been playing voicemail tag. So he tells me that my father called him and said that I wanted a Duke ticket...so somehow him and Ruffin came to an agreement about the ticket and so now....
I HAVE A TICKET TO THE DUKE-CAROLINA GAME!!!! (can you tell I am excited?)
