My dad has started venturing on the internet and only recently got himself an honest to god email account. Mr. RC has sent him some emails to test it out, adding some pics of the kids and such to butter him up to the perks of checking ones email, and he found out that emails from our regular xs4all account don't make it through their tightly secured filter (for the time being they're hitching a ride on the internet connection of their friendly neighbors, who have a tight filter because they've got little kids. We know from experience that filters like that have trouble with our email because of the 'x' in the name.)
Anyway, Saturday was my father's birthday, and I thought I'd send him an email with a lolcat picture attached, using an email account I've got lying around that I hardly ever use otherwise but should work for my parents. When I visited them Sunday I asked if the email had arrived and he said he hadn't checked his email on his birthday but he'd do it right away. When he came downstairs he said 'yep, got an email from you Rodneyscat!'
Well shit.
Let's hope he doesn't google that now shall we?
