*sips orange juice*
Just came home from visiting my parents for my dad's birthday. Am now going to watch the finale of the world cup football final between The Netherlands and Spain.
While driving home we saw people dressed in orange, houses, complete streets decorated with flags and streamers and whatnot all in orange. Amsterdam center is officially closed and people are advised to watch the match elsewhere because it's already too crowded. The match can be followed on big screens in several city centers.
Mr. RC, my daughter and I are watching at home. Oldest has left to go watch at a friend's place with a bunch of others and youngest has left with a whole gang of friends to watch from the big screen in the center of our village.
I hope people will keep on having fun no matter what happens.

[edit] Well, that was nerve-wrecking! Spain won deservedly, but The Netherlands wasn't bad either (although at some point we started calling them yellow instead of orange, geez...), so Spain can be extra proud.
