Today at the RC home will be spent with the kids and my oldest's girlfriend, so there's 6 of us. I'll be preparing a christmas brunch shortly (we decided on 11.00 am because the kids wanted a bit of a lie-in and this way I get to putter on-line for a bit.
Tomorrow my parents, my sister and my parents-in-law will be visiting while the oldest and his girlfriend move their festivities to her parent's house. Parents-in-law will be staying over for Sunday too so I'll be spending the next few days nice and domestic.
We've got plenty of food and drinks, the tree is all done up, Christmas cards everywhere, more candles than is probably healthy, the place under the hearth is stocked with wood to the max, an assortment of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter dvd box sets at hand; you won't be seeing much of me here on livejournal for a few days.
I'm cutting the next bit where I'm putting some links to things you've probably already seen, but I'm linking to it anyway because it's good stuff and there are some quick recs for things I've read and loved as much as I always do but haven't got the time to be more thorough about.

This was such an unexpected delight! Any summary or 'warnings' would give too much away, so I'll just say that it's got Dom being his cocky, flirty, sexy, sweet and gentle self, cheering up a dejected Elijah.

Written for this prompt at kinkme_merlin: Merlin is the new camp whore during a long campaign. Arthur has always participated in the past but much to the surprise of his knights, he refuses to touch Merlin. The reason for this is because Arthur likes Merlin. And Merlin likes him in return - cue lots of teasing and eye contact whilst Merlin is being fucked by the other knights. Eventually Arthur takes what Merlin is offering and then Arthur is the only one he'll sleep with.
Incredibly hot and surprisingly sensual. I really do hope we get more for this, but I've already enjoyed reading so far.

Bradley and Colin ask each other questions. There is a deliciously long scene in there where both know where all these questions are leading to, but it's not the time or place and they know that moment will come; I have such a thing for the exquisite anticipation that follows.

Written for kinkme_merlin. Arthur/Merlin, Lancelot/Merlin, Arthur/Lancelot/Merlin. Modern University AU. Lancelot and Arthur are roommates. Lancelot starts going out with Merlin and Arthur walks in on them in compromising positions and gradually gets a huge crush on Merlin. One day he walks in on them and Lancelot asks him to join in.
A WIP that I hope we'll get more of because I love all the UST that's going on here.
Oh, and one more thing. It's already got an amazing amount of hits. The guy's got a site (which you should check out, because the outtakes are such fun!) and a book and a cd you can buy, so it's easy to get cynical about it, but really, I can't help but feel happy every time I watch this (if you haven't seen it yet, it really sets loose 1 minute into the vid):
